I thought you might like this chat I had with adobe sales support today. I had some honest questions in regards to CS5 upgrade and CS5.5.

Dan: if I buy CS5 today will I get the 5.5 upgrade free?

Dan: also, I have CS3 but I cannot get it to install, if I buy the upgrade to CS5 will CS5 work?

Carol: Dan, I’m sorry, for delay.

Dan: yeah I’m not thinking too positive of adobe right now so what ever you can do to help me will be appreciated

Carol: Yes, if you purchase CS5 version of the software now, you’ll be getting free uprade to Adobe CS5.5 version of the software.

Dan: ok and what about my 2nd question?

Carol: Not, a problem, if you  can purchase the CS5 upgarde using CS3 version of the software, however you’ll have to  enter the serial key of CS3 version of the sotfware.

Carol: *software.

Carol: Could you please provide me the full name of the software you own?

Dan: adobe creative suite 3 design standard

Carol: Okay.

Carol: Would you be interested in developing website in the near future?

Dan: so I should be OK with just the upgrade?

Carol: Yes, you are correct.

Dan: ok thats all I needed to know.

Carol: Dan, Just to confirm, Would you be interested in developing website in the near future?

Dan: will you be in the market for a new home in the near future?

Carol: I’m sorry, could you please be more specific?

Dan: you’re asking me if I want to buy Dreamweaver. and I’m asking you if you want to buy a home.

Carol: Dan, no, I’m sorry, I cannot afford home. I’m not that rich to buy an home.

Carol: I’m sorry, I wish I could help you on in your business.

Dan: well save your money

Carol: However, I’m sorry, I cannot.

Carol: Sure, thank you.

Dan: I already do

Carol: Would you wish to maintain the website, or do you own Dreamweaver?

Dan: I own dreamweaver and you’ll be surprised to hear that I created it using cold fusion

Carol: Ho, yes really I’m surprised!!

Dan: its ok, they were headed in a direction that I thought wasn’t good

Dan: I’ve been to that building, very nice

Carol: Thank you, yes it is nice.

Carol: Dan, that’s good to know.

Carol: Dam, what about the order?

Dan: Kevin Lynch (CIO of Adobe) is a friend of mine

Carol: Okay

Dan: we had swim party once

Carol: Dan, have you received any confirmation, as I cannot stay for long time ona  chat.

Carol: I hope you understand that.

Dan: yeah sure no problem

Dan: I haven’t heard anything back yet
